The IrishRank Score (0–100) is an official, independently assessed score — not a raw star average. Every listing is measured against 10 universal criteria, each worth up to 10 points: Quality, Consistency, Experience, Service, Authenticity, Value, Environment, Innovation, Trust, and Irish Signature.
A score of 10 on any criterion isn't "perfect" — it's the current benchmark for that category. Scores are reviewed and can be updated over time as a business changes.
Customer star reviews are shown separately on every listing — they reflect popularity, not the official score. A business needs a completed assessment to earn an IrishRank Score; until then it shows "Not yet rated", even if it already has customer reviews.
